Mobile Barbershop Tour Goes Social with #WahlGroomedContest

Some people are facial hair challenged while others are up for the challenge. With the latter group in mind, the #WahlGroomedContest was developed to support Wahl’s Face the Day tour that is visiting 11 cities across the U.S. this year.

The #WahlGroomedContest is a photo contest celebrating all things facial hair and in just a few weeks received hundreds of entries from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the Wahl Grooming website, wahlgrooming.com, with people creatively exercising their enthusiasm for facial hair.

The contest brings the mobile tour, complete with a 30-foot barbershop, to life online and allows people across the country to get a feel for the tour. A photo gallery of all submissions is located at wahlgrooming.com/wahlgroomedcontest.

Mustaches on a stick and life-size mustache themed cutouts encourage interaction at the events as well as photo sharing and use of the hashtag. Meanwhile, online the contest has been actively promoted on Wahl’s social media channels and website.

We’re excited to see how many more will show their facial hair spirit through the #WahlGroomedContest before the tour wraps up in October.
