Drowning is the second leading cause of injury-related death for kids ages 1 to 9. So HY Connect has partnered up with the Milwaukee Aquatic Association (MAA) to increase awareness of the importance of water safety. By helping to get the word out, we hope to drive more parents to sign their kids up for swimming lessons, which have been shown to reduce drowning incidents by as much as 88 percent.
The full-page, 4C print ad and web banner we’ve created for MAA will run for free as part of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Building Partners for Humanity Program. This program donates ad space to non-profit groups that partner with local ad agencies to develop their creative. Each non-profit’s creative is then entered into a contest for the chance to win an additional $1,000 donation.
