Campaigns chosen from thousands, recognized for creativity and message effectiveness
CHICAGO (May 16, 2011) – It has only been a few months since HY Connect helped launch a new identity for Indiana’s largest healthcare system, Indiana University Health, but while the agency worked feverishly on shaping the new brand in 2010, it was also supporting the current needs of the hospital system’s partner hospitals and service lines. The agency was recently recognized for that work by picking up two Aster Awards for exceptional service line advertising work in 2010.
HY Connect won a Gold Aster Award for its Back & Neck campaign for the formerly named Clarian West in the service line category. The agency also won a Bronze Award for its Children campaign for formerly named Riley Hospital for Children in the children’s service line category. As part of the new identity, the two hospitals assumed the names of Indiana University Health West Hospital and Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health, respectively.
The 2011 Aster Awards received approximately 3,000 entries from across the United States as well as Canada and South America. Entrants competed against similar-sized organizations in each category. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal. All winners are posted on the Aster Awards website as well as published in Marketing Healthcare Today, a national healthcare marketing magazine.
