Three of our Indiana University Health campaigns were chosen as recipients of this year’s Aster Awards. The Aster Awards is a medical marketing awards program designed to recognize healthcare organizations and advertising agencies for exceptional work in the field. The campaigns are chosen from thousands and recognized for creativity and message effectiveness.
The three campaigns were all judged in the Healthcare group, but cleaned up Silver Awards in three different categories:
- Total Advertising Campaigns category for Phase 1 of the IU Health Brand Launch
- Physician Referral –Series category for the Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health Referring Physician Campaign
- Service Line-Bariatric Services category for the IU Health Bariatric & Medical Weight Loss Campaign
The 2012 Aster Awards received approximately 3,000 entries from across the United States as well as Canada and South America. Entrants competed against similar-sized organizations in each category. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal. All winners are posted on the Aster Awards website as well as published in Marketing Healthcare Today, a national healthcare marketing magazine.
