HY Connect Media Planning and Buying Department Adds Four Mid to Senior Level Staff as Billings Grow

Due to significant new business wins, HY Connect, an independent marketing and communications firm, has recently made several hires in its media planning and buying department. The new account wins include but are not limited to First Tennessee, Kohler Global Power Group and DELSEY luggage. HY Connect’s media billings have grown 35 percent annually between 2010-2012. Final 2013 numbers are not yet reported but annual media billings are expected to be up 20 percent.

New mid to senior level hires based in the agency’s Milwaukee office include:

Kendell Lee, Senior Media Planner. For the past five years, Lee has developed a strong background in all media, particularly national TV, print and digital while working in the Minneapolis branch of Maxus, a part of Group M, and Haworth Marketing & Media. Her account experience includes Target and NBC Universal.

New mid to senior level hires based in the agency’s Chicago office include:

Amy Jennings, Broadcast Manager. For more than 13 years, Jennings has negotiated TV and radio campaigns while managing buying teams for Chicago’s Eicoff & Company and Kelly Scott Madison. She brings a seasoned background in a variety of categories including home building, electronics, consumer packaged goods and pharmaceuticals having worked with clients such as Lumber Liquidators, Lenova, Scott’s Liquid Gold, Jelmar and Galderma.

Amanda LeNaour, Media Supervisor. LeNaour brings more than six years of agency experience in Chicago and New York at media conglomerates, Starcom and Group M. Her account experience includes brands such as Kraft Foods.

 

Maddie Morrison, Media Planner. While at Doner Advertising in Michigan for the past two and a half years, Morrison developed a strong foundation in media research and metrics. With prior accounts such as The UPS Store, the PGA Tour and Ohio Health, she planned and negotiated across all media.
