HY Connect’s inaugural consumer marketing campaign for Kolbe, one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of premium quality windows and doors, has been recognized as the most innovative in the industry by Window and Door magazine. Expert judges have spoken. “We’re for the visionaries” took this year’s Crystal Achievement Awards by storm, winning first prize in every marketing category: Most Innovative Marketing Program, Best Product Literature and Best Industry Website. The sweep was a first for the annual award.
“This achievement acknowledges Kolbe’s efforts to expand the brand’s legacy of customizable products and artisan craftsmanship from the trade audience to the consumer,” said Cindy Bremer, vice president of marketing for Kolbe. “With the help of HY Connect we were able to evolve our messaging and imagery to appeal to a discriminating consumer audience.”
HY’s debut campaign for Kolbe differentiates them from mainstream competitors. Its upscale consumer face, tone and experience appeals to affluent homeowners with a passion for personalized design. This approach can be seen in all the elements including advertising, a new website, online co-op marketing program, literature, public relations and social media.

My Vision allows users to save inspirational product images to an online portfolio that can be emailed, printed and shared with their social networks or their Kolbe dealer — it’s a whole new way to window shop.”
