The 2013 Pantone “it” color, emerald green, has been spotted strutting down the runway at Fashion Weeks and adorning cherished pieces in top designer showrooms across the country. It can also be seen popping off the pages of our new campaign for Design Center at Merchandise Mart, the world’s first and largest Design Center.
“Using the Pantone color of the year doesn’t just help us keep our creative fresh, it embodies a style trend which is what Design Center is all about,” said HY Connect Vice President and Creative Director Laurette Perlewitz.
Adding touches of the Pantone color of the year to Design Center branding and its ad campaign gave communications a very subtle but high-end update. The emerald green square in the center of the new ads draws the viewer into the grid of product images which reflect the “floor plan” style of the design center. The bold color of the emerald green also provides a fresh unifying graphic element to all communication pieces. The new Design Center campaign can be seen in regional trade and consumer magazines as well as collateral at the Merchandise Mart.
