McCrimmon’s perspective will play as big a role as his background in delivering smart, effective solutions for clients
CHICAGO (Sept. 7, 2011)—The fast and furious digital landscape is creating as many opportunities as it is pitfalls for clients. Any marketer can throw out the importance of a mobile site or recommend a QR code and seem smart enough, but it doesn’t take long for tools to fall flat without sound strategy fueling them. Adam McCrimmon will ensure strategy goes hand in hand with digital solutions in his new role as digital strategist at HY Connect, an integrated full service communications agency with offices in Chicago and Milwaukee.
“In addition to his terrific technical background, Adam has strategic instincts that we feel make him unique in this role,” said HY Connect Executive Creative Director Michael Rivera. “His passion and open-mindedness will be critical factors in developing and exploring new ways to leverage technology against our clients’ communications goals.”
McCrimmon’s main role will be to develop strategies that serve as a blueprint for digital and interactive projects. He will guide user experience, consult on interactive usability across all phases of development, and distil research and analytics. McCrimmon will be part of a digital strategy team who collaborate across all departments within the agency to share best practices and ensure every campaign is seen through the lens of the digital experience.
“At HY Connect, ideas come from creative minds in every department, and digital experts are empowered to do more than just execute,” said McCrimmon. “It’s a really dynamic environment for innovation and I look forward to doing some great work.”
