Each year the HYC Earned Media team runs the Wahl Face the Day mobile marketing tour. We drive engagement by working closely with tour staff, festival organizers and regional media to promote the Tour as it travels across the country with a 30-foot mobile barbershop and a team of master barbers. We book dozens of media placements in each market promoting the tour and merchandising Wahl products. Our efforts show millions of men that with a little effort, education and the right tools, they are capable of achieving their best face yet.
At each tour stop we’re also on the lookout for the best facial hair in town with the ultimate goal of finding the Wahl Man of the Year. The annual contest showcases the best groomed faces from around the country and inspires guys everywhere that a style defining look is within reach with a little help from Wahl grooming products.
Last year the tour generated more than 106 million consumer impressions and we are on track for another successful year.
Aligning the tour with a great cause is a cornerstone of our efforts and this year we are partnering with ZERO, a foundation leading the fight against prostate cancer.
